do you think that this website is reliable or does it seem unreal. it is a 3 stone white gold engagement ring 1/2 carat diamond in the middle but its $800 some of the people i have talked to say its cheep others aren’t sure. is this website legit or is it fake? and what do you think of the ring i think its PERFECT! website: http://diamond-me.com/Three-Stone-Round-Brilliant-Diamond-Ring/M/B000TFU00G.htm
The seller is legit (You’ll actually get the item, is what I mean). As someone else stated, the price of this ring is reasonable because it has lower quality diamonds than some major stores may supply. But not horrible. They wouldn’t be yellow or anything.
I’ll break it down for you:
HI/SI (the diamond quality) HI is the color of the diamond, or how bright white the diamond will appear. Some diamonds will have a slightly colored tinge, some "fancy" diamonds are very noticeably colored. "HI" is considered "Near colorless", so diamonds may have a very faint tint but will not be noticeable in a setting, under normal lighting, to an untrained naked eye. D color is considered colorless, but most diamonds are not truly colorless

SI is the clarity. It means "Slightly included" Inclusions are the marks that natural diamonds have. It’s like a birthmark. Only simulated stones are 100% free of these. The best diamonds are called FL, or IF (For "Flawless, and "Internally flawless") These are rare and expensive.
This site has a very good write up on diamond quality, I hope it is useful to you:

This seller sells through Amazon, you can read some of their feedback through amazon as well: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/seller/at-a-glance.html?ie=UTF8&seller=A118QXPHHRPKBE
They also sell through Buy. com

Amazon and buy.com are both reliable websites.
I hope I helped, and congrats!
I’m not familiar with the website, but I think that the ring is a bit on the cheaper side because of the color of the diamond. The website states that the color is HI, which is ok, but is not the best quality. Be careful with online purchases like this. Also, if you want to find out more about the company, read the customer reviews

I looked at the website and tried to find something about their security policy. I didn’t see anything. I also did not see anything guaranteeing that it was a secure website. Typically I stay away from websites like that. That ring is a very common design, and I’m sure you can find it at a better known website.

Zales has a similar one for $100 cheaper… and you’d get to try it on before buying it…

If I were you I’d stay away from it ~ seems too cheap to me, but even if it is a good deal you don’t want to be out of pocket 800 dollars.

Print a picture of the ring then bring it to a reliable store and ask them if they have something similar OR if they could make that ring. Many stores can make a ring for you.

Ask if you can pay by paypal or creditcard or soemthing, then if it turns out to be fraudulent you have those avenues to claim your money back.
Also call them and talk to an actual person. Look at their returns policy. Have the ring valued when it arrives.
